What are steel structures?
The term steel structures usually describes a variety of structural objects consisting of larger and smaller elements utilized for load-transfer to the foundation.
Depending on the purpose they appear in three configurations:
- Surface steel structures – constructed using welded metal sheets, great for building reservoires and tanks for liquids;
- Tension rod structures – a form of framework used for suspended bridges and long-span roofs;
- Frame structures – necessary for the construction of various buildings, including high-rises and multi-nave halls of diverse heights; they are also used for creating roof structures on buildings with masonry walls.
Robust and durable steel structures are also often used to create different types of industrial installations, towers, masts and conveyor belts. Thanks to their use individual objects can be exploited for many years.
